One of the first cases I litigated was one where a woman sued her township for property damage because they used the Jaws of Life to extract her from her car after she ran it into a telephone pole in a single car accident.

That’s just sad. Next time the people rescuing her should just leave her there and then she will have a real reason to sue.
Or, better yet, the state should countersue for wasting the courts time.

Actually, there should be liability release forms the accident victim signs before they are rescued. If they won’t sign, they can sit there and call someone else for help…
