Judge Slaps Motley Rice With Fees Over “Frivolous” Lawsuit

How Ridiculous?
 
 

A federal judge has ordered several law firms to pay $400,000 for filing a “frivolous” whistleblower lawsuit against an educational services company.  After the whistleblower said they had never even considered filing a suit before they were contacted by a lawyer, the judge decided the case “was brought for an improper purpose.”
