A judge dismissed a class action lawsuit against Volkswagen after finding the plaintiffs’ claims were meritless.  However, the lawyers were allowed to file an amended complaint and collect $500,000 in fees, despite the objections of class members that the fees were excessive and a violation of their agreement.
