Bristol Palin sued for defamation by bar heckler

A man who got into a verbal altercation with Bristol Palin in a Los Angeles bar is suing her – and the Lifetime Network – for defamation.  After he called Palin’s mother “evil” and a “whore,” she confronted him and asked if he was gay.  Video of the heated exchange circulated widely on the internet and eventually made it onto a Lifetime reality show.  The plaintiff’s suit claims he was defamed when Palin cited the incident as one of the reasons she decided to leave LA and return to Alaska.
