An Iditarod musher is suing a knife manufacturer after he cut himself during the dogsled race, forcing him to drop out of the competition. The injured racer claims he would have won if not for the defectively designed knife, but a four-time champion thinks it was a case of carelessness, saying “forty years of Iditarod and you only hear of one or two people ever hurting themselves (with knives) enough to stop the race.”
