The parents of a recent high-school graduate are threatening to sue their daughter’s school for naming her salutatorian instead of valedictorian. The couple, whose daughter finished with a 4.50 GPA compared to the eventual valedictorian’s 4.55, are calling the award an “injustice”, adding that their daughter’s hard work has essentially amounted to “nothing.” She is headed to Stanford University in the fall.
