Kellogg class-action settlement rejected by federal appeals court

A federal appeals court has rejected a proposed class-action settlement that would have given $2 million to lawyers and no more than $15 to each customer, an amount the court called “paltry.”  The suit against Kellogg claimed the company made misleading statements about its Frosted Mini-Wheats improving attentiveness for students.
