Phila. cop sues Target Corp. for severe eye injuries sustained in attack by shoplifter

A police officer who was injured by a shoplifter while responding to a call at a Pennsylvania Target store is now suing the retailer.  The officer, who was struck with a weapon by the suspect, says Target’s in-store security personnel should have restrained the shoplifter.
