NY man sues for more money than exists on planet Earth.

The >New York Post reports that, “A Manhattan man has sued the city, NYC Transit, Au Bon Pain Store, two local hospitals, Kmart” and a dog owner – for two undecillion dollars.

The man reportedly filed the lawsuit, which was hand-scribbled, in Manhattan federal court seeking more money than even exists on the planet. The Post reports that this likely sets “a new record for a lawsuit money demand.”

In case you’re wondering, “two undecillion” is written with a “2” followed by 36 zeros.

Caught on Video: Plaintiff in disability suit topples historic boulder.

One of the men responsible for toppling an “ancient boulder in Utah’s Goblin Valley State Park,” was found to have filed a personal injury lawsuit just a few weeks prior to the incident. In that lawsuit, he claimed he suffered from “serious, permanent and debilitating injuries.”

Video of Glenn Taylor shoving the huge rock off a slender pedestal where it rested for millions of years went viral online and attracted media scrutiny.

“Someone with a bad back who’s disabled, who can’t enjoy life, to me, doesn’t step up and push a rock that big off the base,” the defendant in Taylor’s lawsuit, Alan MacDonald, told Salt Lake City television station KTVX, as reported by CNN.

When “CNN affiliate KUTV noted that Taylor didn’t look particularly debilitated in the video, he replied, ‘You didn’t see how hard I pushed.’”

Woman seeks $275k in damages over ‘duck attack’.

An Oregon woman said she was attacked by a duck and is seeking $275,000 in damages, reports KGW-TV Portland.

The lawsuit, “claims the plaintiff, Cynthia Ruddell, stepped out of her motor home on property owned by her mother in Estacada (OR) on May 7, 2012 when a ‘domestic duck’ attacked her.” The lawsuit further alleges that the duck had “dangerous propensities.”

While the lawsuit states medical expenses for Ruddell have added up to approximately $25,000 — “the additional $250,000 claim is for ‘past and future noneconomic damages.’”
