DC Comics is suing Valencia CF, of premiere Spanish soccer league La Liga, in a trademark lawsuit over alleged similarities between the team’s latest logo and the iconic Batman logo.
But Holy Toasters, Batman! Valencia has integrated similar bat imagery in their logos since 1919—more than 20 years before the DC comic book even hit the shelves.
