“If we had to choose a favorite,” continues the article, it would be “the case of a man who had filed a personal injury lawsuit claiming he had ‘serious, permanent and debilitating injuries’ from a car wreck, and later was caught on video pushing over a massive boulder in a state park.”
The piece concludes, “We’ll keep getting a steady diet of this sort of behavior as long as policymakers refuse to enact tort reform laws and leave open the door for plaintiffs looking for jackpot justice.”
