A man in Florida had difficulty getting emergency animal hospital care for his dog, who needed surgery. He claimed his dog died because the hospital didn’t give the dog the attention he needed.
Distraught, the man wrote a negative online review about his experience.
The animal hospital didn’t like what they read, so their lawyers sued to silence him. Now the man owes more than $26,000 in legal fees for his honesty.
We have one word for this kind of lawsuit abuse: Fur-shame.
