One hungry New Jersey couple saw a Taco Bell commercial advertising a five-dollar Chalupa Cravings Box and decided to bite.
A disclaimer on the commercial said that “prices may vary,” but the couple was shocked when they ended up paying around six dollars for each chalupa box.
So they’re suing Taco Bell.
And they want seventy-five thousand dollars for a price difference of about one buck.
That’s enough to buy twelve thousand Chalupa boxes.
That’s ridiculous.
Nobody can eat that many chalupas.
Trial lawyers’ appetite big paydays are bigger than their stomachs.
