Another day, another New Yorker filing a food-related lawsuit, and sadly we’re not “yoking.”
Recently, a Queens man filed a lawsuit against Dunkin’ Donuts over their steak and egg sandwich. The man claims that the item shouldn’t cost more than Dunkin’s other breakfast sandwiches because the steak is a minced beef patty. But the patty is made from Angus beef, which is a premium cut of meat.
Now, the man is asking for a big payday over a $5 sandwich.
The Verdict: Our litigation system would be “butter” without so many ridiculous lawsuits.
