“We’re being sued by our child … I’m dumbfounded, so is my wife, so are my other daughters.”
Those are the words of former police chief and Lincoln Park, NJ resident Sean Canning. Canning and his wife are being sued by their 18-year-old daughter, Rachel, who claims her parents “kicked her out and demanded she pay for her own college education.”
Canning denies refusing to pay for the college education of his daughter, who reportedly has a $20,000 scholarship and wants to attend the University of Vermont.
Rachel currently is living with the family of her best friend, which includes attorney John Inglesino, who is representing Rachel in her lawsuit.
